Argosy Players Autumn 2005 Production was
Once
A Catholic
By Mary O'Malley - Directed by Keith French
28th September - 1st October
2005
A hilarious and irreverent play about the growing pains of schoolgirls
in general and Catholic ones in particular. In a convent school in Harlesden
in the late 1950s, Form 5A gets to grips with O-levels, sex, religion,
rock and roll and avoiding the nuns. Says Mary McGinty when her boy friend
suggests a Registry Office wedding: "It is once a Catholic always a Catholic
and that's all there is to it".
